To take classes at Parkland College, you must fill out an application. If you plan to earn a degree at Parkland and want to be eligible for financial aid, it's important to choose a program of study. If you just want to take a few classes for personal enrichment, check out this page.
Please have your official high school transcript, State of Illinois High School Diploma, or other high school equivalency transcript sent to Parkland College. If applicable, also have official transcripts mailed from any colleges you have attended. Institutions may also send transcripts electronically through any of the major exchange networks. Currently, we are accepting transcripts directly from the student as unofficial, but you will need official final high school transcripts to receive financial aid. Please email all documents to Admissions@parkland.edu.
Looking for help to pay for classes? Visit our Financial Aid page for information on grants and scholarships.
Once you have applied, we'll send you email on how to set up your Parkland College student accounts. E-tools is a great place to start if you need more help with that process.
Once we have all your previous college work, Academic Advising can sit down with you and review what classes will transfer to which programs.
We recommend that all returning or incoming students meet with an academic advisor to select a class schedule. Contact an academic advisor to set up that appointment. Find registration information here.
