Make College Easier to Pay for with a Tuition Payment Plan

Make college more affordable by paying for tuition and fees over time. Tuition payment plans break down your tuition balance into affordable monthly payments. There's no interest, payment options are flexible, setup fees are affordable, and it's easy to enroll!

Nelnet Business Solutions is Parkland College's authorized payment system that provides you with a low cost option for budgeting tuition and other educational expenses. It is not a loan program. There are no interest or finance charges assessed, and no credit check. Customer service representatives are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Call 800/609-8056.

• Automatic bank payment (ACH)
• Credit/debit card
  Please note: An additional 2.8% service fee will be charged on credit/debit card payments.

Cost to Participate

• $30 nonrefundable enrollment fee per semester
• $2 nonrefundable enrollment fee for an immediate full payment
• $25 returned payment fee if a payment is returned

To Sign Up for a Payment Plan follow these steps:

Please note: Nelnet Business Solutions (NBS) is Parkland College's authorized payment system.

1. Go to Connect.

2. Click on Pay Tuition

3. At the top of the page, click on Financial Information, and then Signup for a Payment Plan to open the single sign on pass through menu, or click here.

4. You will be directed to the NBS site where you can create an account and sign up for a payment plan.

Note: Once you have created your payment plan account, you can use the links above for single sign on through my.parkland.edu to access your payment plan, check balances, make plan payments, set up an authorized third party, etc.

Contact the Parkland College Business Office at 217/351-2233 if you do not see the option to sign up for the payment plan.

Tuition Due Dates

SUMMER 2025 SESSION

• Tuition due dates are as follows:
  For classes that begin the week of May 19: Tuition is due April 28.
  For classes that begin the week of June 2: Tuition is due May 12.
  For classes that begin the week of July 7: Tuition is due June 16.

FALL 2025 SESSION

• Tuition due dates are as follows:
  For classes that begin the week of August 18: Tuition is due July 28.
  For classes that begin the week of September 8: Tuition is due August 18.
  For classes that begin the week of October 13: Tuition is due September 22.

Enrollment Deadlines

• NOTE: All payments and enrollment fees are processed immediately.
• If you use Nelnet to pay your tuition in full, that does NOT put you on the payment plan.

Fall 2025 – Payment plan available on March 31, 2025
