Volo.net Internet + Tech

Volo.net Internet + Tech is a Department of Labor-registered employer sponsor of the Telecommunications Industry Registered Apprenticeship Program (TIRAP) for Fiber Optic Technicians. As part of the one-year, 2,000 hour apprenticeship, which culminates with a Fiber Optic Technician Journeyworker status under the Department of Labor registered program, Volo is able to provide a one-week classroom certification training for applicants that qualify for funding and scholarships. The one-week course is during paid work time and provides the apprentice with certifications, including Certified Fiber Optic Technician and Splicing and Fiber Optic Splicing Tester/Specialist, in addition to on-the-job training and mentoring from experienced technicians throughout the entirety of the apprenticeship program. Contact Volo to submit an employment application. Application is not a guarantee of employment nor automatic acceptance into the Fiber Optic Apprenticeship Program.
