Classes are not required to take the High School Equivalency tests (HiSET®, GED ®), but Parkland College Adult Education has test prep classes for those who want help getting ready for their exams.

Parkland College’s GED® test-prep classes help you prepare for college entrance exams, High School Equivalency (HSE) tests, or refresh your skills in:

  • Reading
  • Writing
  • Math
  • Technology
  • Employment
  • College readiness

Instruction is provided in either a traditional classroom setting or online. The curriculum is designed to assist students in passing the HSE test, successfully transition to college, programming, and/or move into the workforce. Students may also enroll in adult education bridge or career pathways programs.
