Parkland College Adult Education provides free multicultural English as a Second Language (ESL) classes for people living in the U.S. (see note below). The program helps improve basic English reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills for non-native English speakers. Classes are assigned based on English-language assessment tests. Advanced students may take special English Communications classes for specific Career Pathways.

- English Communications for Information Technology
Fall Schedule: August–December
Spring Schedule: January–May
Morning (9 am–12 pm) and evening (6–9 pm) classes may be available.
Laptop and tablet loans are available for students who need them for online classes only.

Note: Adult Education provides free classes to citizens, permanent residents, refugees, undocumented residents, green card holders, or people with certain visas (DV1, H 1-4, K3, L 1-2, TN, TD, U, and Displaced Ukrainians). International students or those who hold cultural exchange or tourist visas should apply to Parkland College international admissions.
