With a notable two-decade tenure at Parkland College, Aimee Densmore currently serves as the Program Manager for Workforce Partnerships in the Career and Technical Education division. In this pivotal role, she is dedicated to spearheading workforce innovation initiatives that directly benefit local employers. Aimee's strategic focus encompasses the implementation of impactful work-based learning programs, the advancement of generational workforce education, and the introduction of cutting-edge talent recruitment strategies.
Aimee brings a wealth of experience to her position, having played key roles in recruiting and advising students within CTE programs. Additionally, she has successfully coordinated the college's curriculum development and management processes and managed class scheduling to ensure a seamless learning experience for students.
Educationally, Aimee holds a Bachelor's degree from Eastern Illinois University, earned in 2006, and an Associate in Science degree from Olney Central College, obtained in 2000. Beyond her professional duties, Aimee is a passionate advocate for the Parkland community, exemplified by her role as the President of Parkland Professional Support Staff Association Local 4776, an affiliate of IFT-AFT. Aimee was honored to win the Outstanding Staff Award in 2015.
