Sit for the Illinois nurse aide competency state exam after course completion. Visit the Illinois Nurse Aide Testing site for more information.

The long-term care needs of an increasing elderly population make for stable work for home nursing assistants. You may work in long-term care facilities, adult day care centers, home care agencies, medical and mental health centers, or hospitals.
