Peggy Shaw is an artist working in photography and mixed media. She received her Master of Fine Arts degree in photography from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Her mixed media photography has been shown nationally. She is an instructor of Digital Photography and Video Production. Before joining the faculty at Parkland College she was a video producer and entrepreneur. Shaw has won numerous awards for her work in both photography and video, including awards from both the Illinois Arts Council and Arts Midwest/NEA Regional.
