I am very interested in teaching and community outreach with anthropology. My research work focuses on two generations of indigenous market women in Cochabamba, Bolivia. I explore local ways these women imagine, embody and practice the market and how they negotiate their insertion into the global economy. A new project explores issues of social and ethnic mobility for female entrepreneurs in the Andes. (more)
