Institute of Aviation at Parkland College to Host Aviation Reunion

Parkland College Aviation Reunion to be held Saturday, September 17

The Institute of Aviation at Parkland College is hosting an Aviation Reunion from September 16 to 17.

The reunion will celebrate the Institute's alumni and history with events on Friday, September 16 and Saturday, September 17. Faculty, staff, alumni, and their friends and family, are invited to attend.

September 17 reunion events include: Institute of Aviation Tours from 10 a.m. to noon at 1 Airport Road, Savoy, IL; the reunion from 1 to 4 p.m. at Frasca Field, 1402 Airport Road, Urbana, IL (light refreshments provided); and a tribute to former Institute instructor Omer Benn at 2:30 p.m.

Additionally, there will be an Omer Benn Memorial 9 Hole golf outing the day before, September 16, at 1 p.m. Email upswhale@aol.com for more golf information.
