Parkland College for Kids, DiscoverU Registration Opening Soon
Registration for 2025 College for Kids and DiscoverU camps begins Friday, February 14
Parkland College is once again hosting summer fun and learning opportunities for area youth with registration opening soon.
College for Kids (CFK) is a two-week enrichment camp designed for children ages 6–13 to explore, create, code, and imagine. With small, interactive classes, students can:
- Engage in fun, hands-on STEAM-based learning experiences.
- Build friendships in a collaborative environment led by professional educators.
- Discover new interests while diving into both familiar and exciting new topics.
CFK camps for summer 2025 are scheduled June 16–26 and July 7–17. Sessions are 12:45–2:45 p.m. and 3–5 p.m. Classes are now open to preview online.
DiscoverU camps serve students ages 10–18. More information on individual camps that run throughout June and July can be found online at parkland.edu/ceRegister.
New this year is an exciting welding camp, Ignite Your Spark!, that is being offered for two weeks in June for ages 11–13 and ages 14–16, in partnership with the Foundation of the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association’s grant, SparkForce.
Registration for 2025 College for Kids and DiscoverU camps begins Friday, February 14 for elementary, middle, and high school students. An early bird discount of $15 per registered class is available until March 13 for College for Kids.
