Staerkel Planetarium to Host Variety of Laser Shows in December

Multiple showings of Holiday Magic will feature holiday-themed songs.

Staerkel Planetarium at Parkland College will host a variety of matinee and evening laser shows during the first weekend of December for everyone to enjoy.

Multiple showings of Holiday Magic will feature holiday-themed songs. The lasers will also shine on the dome set to popular music from artists including the Beatles, Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Prince, Led Zeppelin, and more. The following show dates and times include:

• Thursday, December 5: Holiday Magic, 6:30 p.m., Laser Nirvana, 7:15 p.m., Laser OutKast, 8:30 p.m.
• Friday, December 6: Holiday Magic, 6:30 p.m., Laser Zeppelin, 7:15 p.m., Laser Beyoncé, 8:30 p.m.
• Saturday, December 7: Holiday Magic, 1 p.m., Laser Beatles, 1:45 p.m., Laser Taylor Swift, 3 p.m., Laser Movie Magic, 6:30 p.m., Laser Queen, 7:15 p.m., Laser Dark Side of the Moon, 8:30 p.m.
• Sunday, December 8: Holiday Magic, 1 p.m., Laser Prince, 1:45 p.m., Laser EDM, 3 p.m.
