Parkland Theatre Presents "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead"

"Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead" in Parkland College's Harold and Jean Miner Theatre Feb. 15–25. 

"Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead," written by Tom Stoppard and directed by Amy Penne, comes to Parkland College's Harold and Jean Miner Theatre Feb. 15–25.

"Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead" is the fabulously inventive tale of Hamlet as told from the worm's-eye view of the bewildered Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, two minor characters in Shakespeare's play. In Tom Stoppard's best-known work, this Shakespearean Laurel and Hardy finally get a chance to take the lead role but do so in a world where echoes of Waiting for Godot resound, reality and illusion intermix, fate leads our heroes to a tragic but inevitable end.

Amy Penne directs a cast that includes: Douglas Malcolm, Anthony DeGregorio, Owen Henderson, Aaron Godwin, Chelsea Collier, Ciara Kenny, Monty Joyce, Karen Hughes, Jera Sotero, Danielle Beard, David Dillman, Jessica Hamilton, Sara Perez, Phia Marino, and Susan Curtis.
Performances take place in the Parkland Harold and Jean Miner Theatre February 15, 16, 17, 23, and 24 at 7:30 p.m. and February 18 and 25 at 3 p.m.

This show is rated Teen for adult content and language.
