Parkland Foundation Receives Donation for New Scholarship

I & I Antique Tractor & Gas Engine Club donates funding for new scholarships

The Parkland College Foundation has received a generous $20,000 endowment for a new scholarship fund.

The gift from the I & I Antique Tractor & Gas Engine Club will provide scholarships for Parkland students in the Agriculture, Diesel Power, and Case New Holland Service Technician programs.

"Throughout the years, our club has received memorial gifts and we wanted to find some way to use these funds to honor the individuals," said club president Chuck Stelter, who presented the Foundation with the award on June 8.

"We believe that helping students in agriculture programs is a wonderful way to utilize these funds and carry out our mission: continuing the tradition and preservation of antique agriculture in Illinois and Indiana."

The I & I Antique Tractor & Gas Engine Club Scholarship will be available in Fall 2022 for students in select Illinois and Indiana counties. Interested students can visit parkland.edu/scholarships to find out more.
