Parkland College's Response to School Closure Announcement

President Ramage responds to Governor Pritzker's announcement this afternoon regarding K-12 public and private school closures.

Parkland College Community: 

Governor Pritzker has announced this afternoon that K-12 public and private schools will be closing beginning March 17 and extending to March 30, with a possibility of the date extending further into the future. 

Parkland College is taking a measured approach to possible next steps and will continue with its current plan for online instruction and employees reporting to work the week of March 16. Early next week, we will provide direction with further details on what the college's response to school closures will be and if there will be a shift in college operations.
