Parkland College Trustee Nominating Petitions Available

Anyone wishing to run for a Parkland Board of Trustees position may pick up nominating petitions and related documents now.

Officials of Parkland College announced today that any interested persons wishing to run for a position on the Parkland Board of Trustees may pick up nominating petitions and related documents from Krystal Garrett in Room U330 at the Parkland College campus, 2400 West Bradley Avenue, Champaign, Illinois, during regular business hours commencing August 13, 2024, at 9 a.m.

Petitions may NOT be circulated prior to August 20, 2024.

The terms of incumbent trustees Bianca Green and James Voyles expire in April 2025. These board openings will be for 2 six-year terms.

Nominating petitions and supporting documents must be filed between the hours of 8 a.m. and noon and between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Central Time on any of the following dates: November 12, 13, 14, 15, or 18, 2024. Said documents MUST be filed with the Office of the Board Secretary, Krystal Garrett, Room U330, Parkland College, 2400 West Bradley Avenue, Champaign, Illinois.

The election will be held on April 1, 2025.
