"Love Your Soils" Day Feb. 14

Hear from area ag leaders on importance of soil health, water conservation, more

Parkland's Agriculture Program and Ag Club are sponsoring the first "Love Your Soils" Day at the Tony Noel Agriculture Technology Applications Center, Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019, 8:15 a.m. to noon

The event is designed to educate current agriculture students, their parents, and the general public on the importance of soils. Guest speakers include leaders in the Illinois ag industry. Certified crop adviser CEUs are available. This free event is open to the public. Lunch, provided by Parkland Ag Club, is available during the event at no cost through RSVP by Tuesday, Feb. 12, to cmurphy@parkland.edu or 217/351-2481.
