The Parkland College Foundation will host its annual Living Tree program on Arbor Day, Friday, April 27. The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. in the Child Development Center on the Parkland campus.

 

Several trees will be planted in Parkland's Memorial Grove, along with small plaques bearing honorees' names, to memorialize loved ones or bestow special honors.

 

The foundation is asking residents to honor the memory of loved ones with this "living gift." Contributions of $500 or more to the Parkland College Foundation will be used to purchase a tree with a small plaque of remembrance.
