High School Students to Explore Ag Tech Program at Parkland

It will be held at the Tony Noel Agricultural Technolgy Applications Center

Area high school students will have the opportunity to explore programs from the Agricultural Technologies department at Parkland College during the Ag Tech Showcase in March.

On Thursday, March 13, participants will meet with employers, learn about high-tech equipment, visit laboratories, talk with faculty, and enjoy ag-based, hands-on activities from 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Highlights of the showcase include:

  • RC Tractor Pulling Contest
  • Plant Propagation
  • Ag Business and Farm Management
  • Diesel, Case New Holland, and AGCO Programs
  • Employer Networking

Lunch is included in this free event at the Tony Noel Agricultural Technolgy Applications Center on the Parkland College campus. Parking is also free.
