Degree Completion Day Set for Oct. 6 and Oct. 8
Degree Completion Day, Oct. 6 (In-Person) and Oct. 8 (Virtual)
Parkland College students and area residents who have not completed their Parkland College degree and/or certificate are invited to a special event in October.
Degree Completion Day will be held virtually and in-person this year to accommodate COVID-19 safety guidelines. Join academic advisors on campus Wednesday, October 6 from 9:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. in the U Wing near the Bookstore, or virtually on Friday, October 8 from 10–11 a.m. on Facebook Live.
During this event, past and current students who want to finish their Parkland College credentials will be able to chat with an academic advisor to:
- learn how to track their progress toward a degree or certificate
- determine which courses are needed to complete their credential
- see which universities guarantee junior-level transfer status with a completed Associate in Arts degree
- complete a Petition to Graduate form, if applicable (due Nov. 5)
