"The SpongeBob Musical," April 14–May 1 at Parkland Theatre

"The SpongeBob Musical", written by Kyle Jarrow and directed by Chelsea Collier, comes to the Harold and Jean Miner Theatre at Parkland College from April 14 to May 1.

Based on the beloved animated series by Stephen Hillenburg, "The SpongeBob Musical" features a book by Kyle Jarrow and original songs by Yolanda Adams, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Sara Bareilles, Jonathan Coulton, Alexander Ebert of Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeroes, the Flaming Lips, Lady A, Cyndi Lauper, John Legend, Panic! at the Disco, and more.

With music direction by Cheryl Morganson and choreography by Elliot Emadian, Chelsea Collier directs a cast that includes Laramie Ziegler, Ares Jordan, Jerry Strain, Excellence Onalundula, Jacob Alfonso, Jason Brooks Shaw, Haley Brown, Mariah Smith, Spencer Hazen, Eric Schacht, and a 15 member ensemble.
