Parkland College Academic Opportunity Scholarship for Underrepresented Students
Ten tuition and fee scholarships are awarded annually to high school seniors who are academically talented and who represent cultural, ethnic or racial underrepresented groups at Parkland College. This scholarship will cover 50% of full-time tuition and fees for a maximum of two consecutive years (including two summer terms). Applications are sent to District 505 high school guidance counselors during the spring semester.
Parkland College Athletics Scholarship
Tuition and fee waivers for athletes in the men’s and women’s basketball, men’s baseball, women’s softball, women’s volleyball, men’s golf, men’s and women’s soccer. Contact the Athletics Department for more information at 217/351-2226.
Parkland College Board of Trustees Scholarship
Awarded to the top 10 percent of graduating seniors from each high school in District 505 who attend Parkland full-time immediately after graduation from high school. This scholarship will cover 50% of full-time tuition and fees for a maximum of two consecutive years (including two summer terms). Recipients are recommended by high school principals or guidance counselors.
Parkland College Fine and Applied Arts Activities Scholarship
This scholarship will cover 50% of full-time tuition and fees for high school graduates, or those with high school equivalency, who participate in Fine and Applied Art activities. Contact the Fine and Applied Arts office for more information at 217/351-2392.
Parkland College Honors Scholarship
The Parkland College Honors Program offers unique educational
opportunities and scholarships each semester to students motivated to
challenge themselves academically; find an outlet for a special academic
interest or talent; or simply continue their commitment to scholastic

Parkland College Music Scholarship
This scholarship will cover 50% of full-time tuition and fees for incoming high school graduates who are majoring in music. Contact the Fine and Applied Arts office for more information at 217/351-2392.
Parkland College Student Leadership Scholarship
Tuition waivers to high school graduates, or those with high school equivalency, who participate in The Prospectus student newspaper, Student Leadership Academy, and Student Organizations. Contact Student Life for more information at 217/351-2492.
Parkland College Student Trustee and Student Government President Scholarship
Two-semester partial tuition waiver for students holding these elected positions. Contact Student Life for more information at 217/351-2492.
Parkland College Theatre Scholarship
