Based on the Emmy Award-Winning television movie by Reginald Rose
Adapted for stage by Sherman L. Sergel
Directed by BJ Gailey
In this classic drama, a 19-year-old man has just stood trial for the fatal stabbing of his father. "He doesn't stand a chance," mutters the guard as the 12 jurors are taken into the jury room. It looks like an open-and-shut case, but one of the jurors isn’t convinced. In the course of re-examining the case, tempers get short, arguments grow heated, and the jurors unknowingly reveal their true natures- their backgrounds, their values, and their biases. In order to deliver a verdict, 12 increasingly frustrated individuals must reach a consensus despite their differences, and hanging in the balance is the truth, justice, and a young man’s life.
