Jon began his tenure at Parkland College in 1991 in the position of Director of Business Operations and has served in various capacities of Administrative Services. His role of Chief Financial Officer includes the oversight of all financial and accounting operations, administrative and academic computer technologies, purchasing, risk management and auxiliary enterprises.

He graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 1976 and has spent his entire career working in the Illinois Community College system. His professional memberships include the Illinois Community College CFOs and Community College Business Officials. He is active in community youth programs and has coached several teams in various sport activities.

Jon's family includes his wife Cynthia and children Adrienne, Jessica, Tyler and Travis.
