About 1,000 University of Illinois students take classes at Parkland each year; come join them!
Parkland offers hundreds of classes each semester in a multitude of formats including online, evening, and hybrid sections. Work with your UIUC advisor to make sure your Parkland class will work for your program, or check out Transferology.
The Parkland College Learning Commons is a physical and virtual hub for learning; a place for students to connect with faculty, peer tutors, print and electronic information resources, instructional support services, instructional technology, and each other to achieve their learning goals.
Once you have completed your class at Parkland, you will need to request that official transcripts be mailed to the University of Illinois so they can evaluate them.
To take classes at Parkland College, you must fill out an application. As a University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign student, you should apply as a non-degree-seeking student, since you are degree-seeking at the UIUC. If you have enrolled in classes in the past two years you do not need to fill out a new application. Move on to step two.
Each semester, you must fill out a concurrent enrollment form so we can register you for the classes you would like to enroll in for that academic term.
Concurrent Form
ALL financial aid is awarded through the University of Illinois as the HOME institution. Students who are seeking to have their Parkland credit hours evaluated for financial aid at the University of Illinois MUST also complete Office of Student Financial Aid Concurrent Enrollment Agreement.
The Admissions and Records office will register you for your classes once you have submitted your concurrent enrollment form and academic history. US Residents who are University of Illinois students concurrently enrolled at Parkland College will be assessed tuition at the resident rate. University of Illinois International students will be assessed tuition at the international rate.
Parkland offers academic accommodations for students with documented disabilities. If you are in need of accommodations, please contact Accessibility Services at 217/353-2338.
Once you have applied, we'll send you email on how to set up your Parkland College student accounts. E-tools is a great place to start if you need more help with that process.
View our tuition deadlines here. An installment plan for tuition is available on our payment plan page.
Once your Parkland class is complete, you can request that official transcripts be sent to UIUC so that they can add the class to your record.
