HOUSING OPTIONS
The Office of Student Life maintains a list of locations, costs, bus line services, and details about apartments and other rental properties in the Champaign-Urbana area.
For specific leasing information on any rental property that appears on Parkland's housing list, the student must contact the owner/manager directly. The properties on the housing list are all privately owned and unaffiliated with Parkland College. Parkland, therefore, cannot be held liable in any dealings between the student and property owner/manager.
The Tenant Union of Champaign/Urbana, 44 E Main Street, Room 208 Lincoln Building, Champaign, IL 61820, phone (217) 352-6220, is a service and advocacy organization that exists as a resource for tenants and works to stimulate fair relationships between landlords and tenants. They offer services such as checking complaint records, reviewing leases, obtaining forms, and assisting with housing problems.
