A native of the Philippines, Mark has taught social science at Champaign’s Centennial High School for 15 years; he was the NJCAA D-II’s Region 24 Coach of the Year for 2008 (soccer).
If he isn’t dining out at the Paradiso Café or relaxing to the music of the M’s, John Legend, or Common, you might find Mark, wife Nicole, and two daughters vacationing in Manhattan, NY, a favorite spot. What he loves most about teaching? “It’s working with future leaders of America and the world: being around quality, dynamic young people.”
