“There is always something different to do” in the field of theatre, which is what keeps David Dillman enjoying his job. The Millington, Tennessee, native, who started at Parkland in 1999, says he’s constantly inspired by lively theatre audiences and by the quality of the shows at Parkland Theatre. One of his proudest accomplishments was earning his master’s degree while working full time.
If he’s not vacationing in Michigan, a favorite spot, David might choose to relax with woodworking, books, movies, or learning more about horses. But whether he’s working or playing, David is making the most of the moment. His favorite quote, from the movie Braveheart, is “Everyman dies; not every man really lives.” So what’s his advice? “Get a life.”
