Major: Hotel Management
Interests: new cultures/cuisines, hanging out with friends
Ryan took Hotel Management as a major at Parkland because he wants to manage and own a hotel one day.
“I want to be a very successful person and make my family proud of me,” he said.
He has learned a lot about Hotel Management by studying at Parkland. In addition, he has made a lot of international student friends. He likes to hang out with them because he likes to learn about their cultures; he finds it interesting to know the cultures of different countries. Ryan has tasted various kinds of foods from other countries since being introduced to his international student friends.
He joined some student clubs at Parkland, like English Conversation Club and International Students Association. He met many international students in those clubs and has made friends with them.
After he finishes with his Parkland studies, Ryan plans to transfer his studies to the University of Illinois.
