Officer Escorts

The Parkland College Department of Public Safety provides officer escorts from any location on campus 24 hours a day. Simply contact our office at 2369 and an officer will meet you at any on campus location.

Parkland Sexual Assault Response Team

The team offers victim advocacy to survivors of sexual assault as well as provides educational programs about sexual assault.

Record, Identify and Protect

The Department of Public Safety provides engravers so that students can mark personal possessions. Once the items are engraved, the return of lost items to the proper owner is easier.

Emergency Phones

Emergency phones are located in campus parking lots and near handicap entrances to the building. All emergency phones are equipped with easy one button activation. Once the phone is activated, police dispatchers are alerted to the location of the emergency phone and communication can take place. If dispatchers are unable to make contact, officers are immediately dispatched to the phone's location.

Cobravision

Cobravision is a campus-wide television network that displays up-to-date information about campus activities. The Department of Public Safety is able to utilize the television network in order to post crime prevention and safety tips.
