FOR ART'S SAKE    (Watch Now)
A series of Parkland Art Gallery interviews, talks, and demonstrations highlight local, state, and national artists, art issues, and exhibitions. The first half-hour program, In Praise of Women Artists, aired in 1988. LIVE & LEARN   (Watch Now)
This series partners with the Live & Learn publication of Parkland’s noncredit programming. Topics include the Lifelong Learning Institute for retirees, previews of upcoming theatre, music, and art gallery attractions, Women’s Programs, College For Kids, Community Education, the Business Development Center, Adult and Workforce Education, computer training, Institute for Science Education, American Sign Language, literacy,                                 

and noncredit science classes.

THE PARKLAND CHALLENGE  
HIGH SCHOOL QUIZ BOWL
Organized by Dan Hughes, former general manager of WPCD, Parkland’s radio station, high school quiz bowls have been taped since the late 1980s. Sixteen teams come each year to Parkland to participate in this competition of instant recall of academic material and popular culture.
