Honors Program Graduates Recognized

Eleven students recognized at Honors Convocation for outstanding academic achievement

The following area students, recent graduates of the Parkland College Honors Program, received recognition for this accomplishment during the college's Graduate Honors Convocation on May 15.

To graduate from the Parkland College Honors Program, students must have a 3.5 GPA; complete three acceptable portfolio projects (two A with Honors projects plus a service-learning project); and participate in the Honors Program Symposium, where they highlight their honors achievements before graduation from Parkland.

The Graduate Honors Convocation celebrates the academic achievements and personal accomplishments of graduating students at Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois. These students have distinguished themselves in scholarship, leadership, athletics, artistic performance, and community service. This annual recognition program affirms the college's commitment to providing quality instruction, comprehensive student services, and cultural enrichment to students and to the residents of District 505.
