Travel abroad with Parkland College on a 10-day guided tour of historic gardens in England.
"A Journey to Selected Gardens of London and Southeast England" will take place May 14–23, 2015. Designed and operated by Club Europa, the tour will be led by Kaizad Irani, award-winning landscape architect and Parkland horticulture professor.
Guests will enjoy roundtrip travel between Champaign and London and stay overnight in superior tourist class hotels. The excursion includes full English-style breakfasts and dinners; sightseeing in London; and trips to Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, and other cities.
Nearly a dozen public-garden visits will be featured in the tour, including a visit to the Royal Botanic Gardens (Kew Gardens) and Wisley Gardens, the flagship garden of the Royal Horticultural Society. As a special feature, participants will attend the famed Chelsea Flower Show on May 21.

. The fee for the London trip is $3,740 (based on double occupancy). Parkland requires a nonrefundable deposit of $500 by November 25, to secure the trip and tickets to the popular flower show. A valid passport is required for travel to London.
