As a general policy, the Parkland Library does not purchase textbooks for college classes. The Library's mission is to provide research materials and other resources that supplement classroom learning. The purchase of textbooks is a part of the student's expected cost of education.

We encourage instructors to place on Reserve at the Library's Service Desk, copies of textbooks and other supporting material so that students may benefit from access to these materials.
