İİ  Reference Librarians, Ray Bial and Ann Neely, attended the American Library Association annual conference in Chicago.
İİ  An entry for Ray Bial has been included in volume 116 of Something About the Author (published by Gale).
İİ  On behalf of the Prairie River Historical Society, Lori Sprague submitted a successful grant proposal which will provide funds for relocating an historical building.
İİ  Anna Maria Watkin has been elected to serve on the Illinois Digital Academic Library's Steering Committee.  She is one of four officers elected to represent the 48 Illinois community colleges.

     Newly added to the Library webpage under the "Library Services" link is information that will let our library users know the policies that affect their use of Parkland Library.  Included is information on Circulation, Interlibrary Loan, Library Instruction, Reference, and Reserves. 
     The "Library Services" link is the place to look for answers on how long books check out, how to renew books, how to place an interlibrary loan request,  and a myriad of other questions.
     You will also find online forms for PRO (Parkland Reference Online), Interlibrary Loan, and Library Instruction requests.
