Introducing .....New Library Staff |
The Library would like to introduce our three newest staff members. Donnie Huggins is the Archives Assistant. Donnie moved to this area from Columbia, S.C., in 1997. She and her husband, a graduate student at the University of Illinois, have a 2 year old daughter, Tyler. Donnie enjoys playing the violin and is active in her church. Our two new Public Services Assistants assigned to the Circulation Desk are Louis Kehinde and Cicely McClennon. Originally from Lagos, Nigeria, Louis (pronounced lou-EE) came to the United States in 1986. A father of two college-aged sons and a high school-aged daughter, he is studying Computer Network Administration at Parkland and previously worked as a Parkland Library Student Assistant. In his spare time, Louis likes working on computers and is a portrait artist. Originally from Chicago, Cicely comes to us from Champaign Public Library. She plans to attend the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois. Cicely keeps busy caring for her daughter, Noe, and her hobbies include cooking and photography. Stop by and say hello. Join us in welcoming Donnie, Louis, and Cicely to the Parkland Library staff!
