For several hours in December, Parkland Library hosted the Mortenson Scholars from
the University of Illinois.

Maria Watkin participated in "Creating Your Preferred Libraries:
Libraries of the Future" workshop sponsored by NILRC. She also
attended the Illinois Consortia of Community College Administrators annual
conference in Springfield in November.
In
November Cliff Bishop attended the "Internet Librarian
2000" conference in Monterey, California.
Feb. 15 - Workshop: "Articles at Your Fingertips." Instructors will receive details via e-mail.
Feb. 22 - Workshop: "Articles at Your Fingertips." All employees will receive details with Professional Development Day information.
