£  Anna Maria Watkin attended the NILRC planning retreat at Allerton Park in February.

£  Frances Drone-Silvers, Louis Kehinde, Nancy Bode, and Raeann Dossett attended a variety of the workshops offered at Illinois State Library's "On the Front Lines" Conference.

£  Lori Sprague recently met with representatives from Heartland Community College and McHenry County College to offer information and advice on starting archive collections at their colleges.

Ann Neely, Parkland reference librarian since 1973, has announced her retirement effective the end of the semester.  If you are not acquainted with Ann, she was featured in a previous newsletter issue.  Come by the Library and extend your greetings and thank yous for her many years of dedicated service to the College.  A retirement reception will be announced in the future.
