Out and About

~  Virginia Stout has volunteered to work with mothers in teaching their babies sign language at Champaign Public Library.
~  Cliff Bishop attended "eBooks in Illinois Academic Libraries Conference" at the Chancellor Hotel. He also participated in "Computers in Libraries 2005" in Washington, D.C.
~  Anna Maria Watkin attended the annual NILRC planning retreat at Allerton Conference Center. Topics included information literacy in high schools and community colleges, collection development for electronic resources, the proposed state-wide academic library merger to create CARLI (consortium of academic and research libraries in Illinois), and e-books.
~  Pamela Colvin, Raeann Dossett, and Rena Moore attended a Copyright Workshop at Lincoln Trail Libraries System.
~  Frank Blair, Nancy Bode, and Rena Moore participated in ILCSO's "Circulation/UB/ILL Forum: Universal Borrowing and Beyond" at University of Illinois-Springfield.
~  Nancy Bode attended "Introduction to OCLC Connexion" training at Lincoln Trail.
~  Raeann Dossett was a presenter at NADE (National Association of Development Education) in Albuquerque.

The Library is closed when the College is closed.
