| Officer Jim Hand was
guest at the Library's February department meeting. Jim is
the Library's Public Safety liaison, and he discussed how the
Department of Public Safety serves the College. He answered
questions related to safety, made suggestions on how we should
best handle situations, and advised us when intervention is
needed.

Virginia
Stout, Technical Services Assistant, has volunteered to
assist students in Janet Fros' Manual Communication classes (SPE
150 and 151). Virginia, who has studied American Sign Language,
enjoys practicing sign language and sharing her knowledge with
others.
