MyAccount
With Parkland
Library's conversion to ILCSO's ILLINET Online database, library patrons are now
able to monitor their library accounts using a feature called "MyAccount."
What is MyAccount?
It is a new way to access information about your library
account: items checked out, the status of each item, due dates,
renewing material, reviewing charges and tracking pending requests.
How do I use
MyAccount? It's
easy! Go to the Parkland Library catalog: http://library.ilcso.illinois.edu/prk/
on the Web. Click the link to Parkland College. Now click on "MyAccount" at the top of the
page. Parkland is the default for your home
library. You'll key in your Parkland ID number and your
last name.
Keep in mind:
-
Not all
material is renewable. If
you are not able to renew Parkland material, you can check the Loan
Periods on Parkland Library's webpage. (Or on the Library's
homepage, click "Access Services" in the left-hand column.)
-
If you borrow
from other ILCSO libraries, their rules apply to you, including
loan periods and fines.
-
You will
receive overdue notices through email, usually your Parkland
email account. If
you are a registered Parkland student you already have a
Parkland email account. Please
check your email account often. See a librarian if you
need assistance.
-
When visiting
the Library your Parkland ID card is required to borrow
items. It serves as your Library card and is verification
that you are a currently enrolled Parkland student. Your
Parkland ID will also permit you to borrow material if you are
on-campus at the other 64
ILCSO members. You may also be asked for other
identification.
-
If you are
concurrently enrolled at the University of Illinois and are on
site at the Parkland Library, please use your Parkland ID card.
Hopefully this
has helped you get more acquainted with MyAccount.
If you have any questions please stop by Parkland Library or give us a
