The Medical Laboratory Technician
A medical laboratory technician works behind the scenes investigating and
analyzing what human blood and other fluids tell us about disease and other
health conditions, and how the body is responding to treatment. For a careful
researcher, lab work can be like unraveling medical mysteries. If you are
curious and detail-oriented as well as compassionate, a medical laboratory
career may be for you.
Those interested in this field should have an inquisitive nature, enjoy working
with equipment, possess manual dexterity, and also have an aptitude for mathematics
and science.
