The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

If working under stress brings out the best in you, consider becoming an emergency medical technician (EMT). As a certified EMT, you provide rescue services and emergency treatment to people in life-threatening situations. Your responsibilities, above remaining calm and in control, would be to administer
• first aid,
• cardiopulmonary resuscitation,
• respiratory care, and
• life-support systems.
