With our excellent reputation and connections to the health industry, our programs are fully accredited and will prepare you for transfer, licensing exams, or whatever you need to move ahead in your career.

Highly ranked program
Parkland’s Dental Hygiene program is recognized as one of the top programs in the state. In the past 30 years, over 600 students have earned this degree from Parkland. Fully accredited by the American Dental Association, this program takes you beyond the minimum requirements, and features individualized instruction from specialists.

Placement assistance
Parkland College’s Career Center, 217/351-2536, receives notification of local, state, and nationwide job openings in this field and assists students in developing job search skills.

Dual credit for high school students
High school students may be able to take some of these courses for both high school and college credit prior to graduating from high school. Check with your high school counselor for further information.

Financial aid
