Computer Programming - Database Management

The Computer Programmer / Database Manager

Computer programmers write, test, and maintain the detailed instructions (programs) that computers must follow to perform their functions. They also conceive, design, and test logical structures for solving problems by computer. Programmers develop software such as games, desktop publishing, spreadsheets, financial planning, educational programs, and other applications for all types of businesses and organizations. Programmers that specialize in database management determine ways to organize and store data. They analyze user requirements to set up and maintain computer databases.
