Minimum graduation requirement — 60 semester hours
The Child Development Program prepares the student for work in preschool facilities. The program fulfills the requirements of the Department of Children and Family Services for child-care workers and directors.

A criminal background investigation is required prior to
field experience. Students are responsible for any fees.

To take CHD 222 and CHD 250, students must have a 2.0
GPA, a C or higher grade in CHD courses, and instructor
approval.
