Whether you are a student choosing a college major or are a dislocated worker, career changer, or retiree, we have resources and services designed to assist you.

Career Services offers the following:

  • How to Use LinkedIn
  • Resume and/or Cover Letter Review
  • Mock Interviews
  • Career and Job Search Planning
  • Career Counselor Coffee Chats
  • Internship Support

Career Services provides several resources in Spanish, such as the Job Hunting Handbook and the Wingspans career platform, which includes a career assessment, exploration tools, and a resume builder. However, Career Services does not offer advising in multiple languages.

Are you undecided on an educational or career path? if so, email careerservices@parkland.edu and request to take the YouScience Brightpath aptitude test. Once completed, schedule an appointment for a career assessment follow-up.

Tuesday, March 11, Surgical Technology and Respiratory Care Career Fair, U-140, 1 pm - 3 pm 

Effective communication is essential for building strong relationships, expressing ideas clearly, and advancing personally and professionally. 

Students can log into LinkedIn Learning and take the course, Communication Foundations to help them improve their communication skills.
