Accident Investigation Training

Join Tom Grey and learn how to empower your company’s Safety Committee to effectively address safety issues. This workshop helps you develop group dynamic and meeting guidelines, a system to turn safety concerns into safety action plans, and more. Participants will be able to offer a comprehensive action plan to key decision-makers as well as amend their current program using an accident investigation worksheet and procedures, investigation interview worksheet, root cause investigation tool, corrective action plan, and follow-up process.

Aerial and Scissor Lifts Training

Tom Grey will train participants on equipment operating characteristics, training requirements, and safe operations. Participants will be required to demonstrate operating skills on the equipment and will learn best practices used in the industry. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a course completion card.

First Responder Certification

Prepare for the First Responder certification with licensed paramedic Troy Dunn and learn about the EMS system; legal/ethical issues; the human body; transporting patients; airway management and patient vitals; patient assessment and intervention; and medical emergencies involving varying injuries, childbirth, infants, and children.  Upon successful completion, participants will be certified with the Illinois Department of Public Health for four (4) years.

Forklift Train the Trainer

Develop your own in-house forklift trainer! Forklift certification is not required to obtain your trainers certification.

OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Outreach

Discover a wide variety of general industry related safety and health standards as well as an introduction to OSHA with Tom Grey. Course topics include electrical, walking/working surfaces, exit routes, emergency action plans, fire prevention and protection, personal protective equipment, flammable combustible liquids, machine guarding, hazard communication, introduction to industrial hygiene/blood-borne pathogens/ergonomics, and safety and health. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive an OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Outreach card.

OSHA: Bloodborne Pathogens Standard Compliance

Do you come in contact with blood or other body fluids while performing your job? Are you trained to administer first aid or to respond to emergencies? If so, then join Tom Grey in this fact-filled training session. All private employers also need to be aware of OSHA regulations, such as establishing a written exposure plan; identifying and training workers who may have occupational exposure; and providing protective measures. Review exposure control policies, program compliance requirements, immunization records, record-keeping requirements, infectious waste disposal, housekeeping practices, and requirements for employee education.

Violence Goes to Work: An Introduction for Supervisors
