For the first time, the M-WAC Golf Tournament was held as part of the Region 24 Tourney and the Cobras came out on top for the title edging Springfield College by just one stroke. Parkland finished the 54 hole event with a score of 918 while SCI came in at 919. ICC, Danville, and Lewis & Clark rounded out the top five.

Freshman Michael Davan, an NJCAA National Qualifier, earned medalist honors firing a three-round total of 219 (74-74-70). He is joined as a First-Team honoree by Tony Ross (SCI), Narish Punjabi (ICC), Andrew Jones (DACC), and Ted Starkey (SCI). Parkland's Cameron Heino and Bob Huey earned 2nd Team All-Conference recognition.

Freshman Michael Davan shot a three-round total of 219 (75-74-70) to finish in 3rd Place at the Region 24 Tournament held at Lock Haven Country Club in Alton. Davan finished five strokes behind medalist Grant Price of John A Logan. Logan easily won the team title by 30 strokes over 2nd place Rend Lake. Both teams, plus the five lowest scores not on one of the top two teams, advance to Nationals at Palm Valley Country Club in Phoenix May 20-23.

Bob Huey (73-76 149) and Michael Davan (75-76) paced a balanced line-up as the Men's Golf team finished 2nd at the Lewis & Clark Invitational held at the Lock Haven Country Club. Huey finished in 5th place over-all, three strokes behind the co-medalist from Rend Lake, while Davan was five strokes back. Trevor Wiesner (78-87 157), Cam Henio (76-80), and Tim Walters (77-86) rounded out the scores for PC. Tad Lidy (78-77 155) and Matt Koester (77-77 154) competed as individuals in the two-day tournament.

Rend Lake won the title shooting 593 for the 36 hole event, Parkland was second at 611, and ICC came in 3rd with a 630 in the 11 team invite.
Parkland is off until May 11-12 when they will return to Lock Haven for the Region 24 Tournament. The top two teams at the Regional plus the top 5 individuals not on one of those two teams will advance to the National Tournament in Phoenix, AZ. MAy 19-23.

Tim Walters shot a two-round total of 148 to finish in 6th place over-all and helped the Parkland Golf team to a 2nd place finish at the 11 team Rend Lake Invitational. The Cobras were in 4th after day one but bunched together several strong scores to edge the host school out of secondl by just one shot. John A Logan won the title with a 590, Parkland was 8 strokes back with a 598 and Rend Lake was third at 599. Patrick Scheil (JAL) was the individual medalist shooting a 139.

In addition to Walters score, other notables for Parkland included: Michael Davan (150), Trevor Wiesner (152), Bob Huey (153), and Cameron Heino (155). Parkland will compete at the Lewis & Clark Invite April 25-27 at Lock Haven CC which is also the host course for the Region 24 tournament in May.
